us a preview of what his priorities will be. >>> in other news, including the newtown school massacre, the cycle of funerals and grief sends endless. three more children and three teachers were laid to rest today, including the principal, dawn hochsprung. and one more burial we're learning more about, adam lanza's first victim. deborah fay rec deborah feyerick is monitoring that. >> reporter: nancy lanza was lay i had to rest today. the chief of police, a close friend of the family, grew up with nancy and her brother who was on the police force, the chief is telling us that in fact there was a private service for family only. they didn't even invite friends. it was a very small service at an undisclosed location. she was buried. in fact, adam was not buried with her. that's still in discussion. if that happens, if he joins his mother at some point, it's not going to be for many months. but the mother, as you say, his first victim, she was buried today. this is the home where she died. shot four times in the head by her son. this, wolf, came after she had been away for three days. when

newtown police as well as state troopers are expected to be on-site when schools open two hours later than unusual. sandy hook elementary, though, will remain closed. on monday, moving trucks arrived at the school to transport furniture to chalk hill school in the neighboring town of monroe, which will reopen to accommodate the sandy hook students. >> they're taking pictures of all the walls, everything where all the decorations were and they were be painstakingly put back together as close as possible to recreate that room. >> monroe has opened their arms because we are a small, new england community. and our neighbors are our family. >> on monday, the first two funerals were held for victims of the family. noah pozner and jack pinto. today, 6-year-old jessica rekos, who loved everything about horses. they'll be laid to rest. a wake will be held for a 27-year-old teacher victoria soto who saved many of her students by locking them in the closet before she was shot herself. police are confirming that doult two adults, not just one, who were shot at the school on friday survived

rampage as we remember more of the young victims. peter doocy is live in newtown. what exactly is the medical examiner trying to prove or look into here? >> reporter: jenna, the chief medical examiner, wayne carver, has recruit ad geneticist from you con, the university of connecticut, if there is known dizzy or disorder could be associated with the kind of murderous behavior that adam lanza showed last friday. dr. carver doesn't know for sure if adam had asperger's, but if he did that would not be associated with this kind of violence. he wants a geneticist to help figure out what kind of disorder s 25-year-old marine from sandy hook, that adam lanza thought his mom cared more for kindergartners she volunteered with last year than they did for him. he may have gone to their first grade classroom on friday when he found his mom was trying to send him to a mental institution. this marine told foxnews.com, quote, from what i've been told, adam was aware of her petitioning the court for conservatorship and her plans to have him committed. adam was apparently very upset about this
